1. Admit you are human and have done things in your life you may not be proud of and ask God to forgive you for them.
(1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.â€)
2. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross and that He came back to life from the grave for everything you have or ever will do wrong.
(Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.â€)
3. Confess with your mouth that you are willing to serve The Lord Jesus Christ in all your endeavors and He will be there to guide and walk with you through anything life throws your way.
(Deuteronomy 31:8 “And the Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear, or be dismayed.â€)
